Coppicing Workshop
Hazel coppice in Rawhaw Wood
Learn the skill of coppicing
This workshop is aimed at people with an interest in the management of traditional coppiced woodland.
The course is being held in a multi-award winning woodland, the only remaining commercial hazel coppice within Rockingham Forest.
Coppiced woodland has been an essential feature of the Rockingham Forest landscape for hundreds of years.
Why not spend a day learning more about why and how it
still has an importance in the 21st century?
